Maria Fletcher
Works
Overview
Maria lives and works in Suffolk. Drawing inspiration from The Scottish Colourists, her joyful still lifes capture the emotional lift that flowers evoke, which she then mixes with a modern twist. Maria juxtaposes traditional blooms with contemporary ceramics and fabrics to conjure a maximalist feast for the eyes. She is also a lecturer in Graphic Design, which explains her natural instinct to place colour and pattern so brilliantly together.
