Piers Henry

Piers Henry is a sculptor based in Macclesfield, Cheshire – a town once largely renowned for its contribution to manufacturing within the UK.

He formerly trained as a furniture maker, working mainly with concrete and steel due to their limitless properties.

“These materials have the capability of bending, colouring, and coating. I can be as creative as I want to be whilst knowing that I can still produce a product at the end of it – and it’s great fun”.

Piers’ work is centred around turning the mundane into objects of beauty. His lucid mirror series consist of flat stainless steel and brass sheets which are carefully manipulated to create stunning wall mounted sculptures. Reflecting distorted interiors and landscapes around them by day and magical warm glows at night.

Since their conception in 2022, Piers has sold the series globally and has undertaken commissions for public spaces. We are incredibly excited to be representing such a vibrant and talented young artist and have no doubt that there will be even more exciting things to come.
